Mark Tomecak founded Tomecak Design on May 27, 2005, on a specific conviction: that one of the most costly and common failure modes in commercial architecture is a principal who disappears after the contract is signed, leaving a client to navigate the entitlement process, the permit comment cycle, and the construction administration period without the person who knows the project.
He built this firm to be the answer to that problem.
Mark leads every engagement from the first feasibility conversation through construction administration closeout. Experienced senior staff, Andrew and Kelly, communicate directly with clients and handle day-to-day coordination while Mark maintains principal oversight at every stage. His name is on the license, the drawings, and the permit applications. His professional reputation is the collateral behind every project the firm takes on.

Tomecak Design provides planning, entitlement, architecture, and construction administration for commercial, multifamily, hospitality, retail, office, industrial, fitness, and adaptive reuse projects throughout Arizona.
The firm does not provide engineering in-house. Structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical engineering are provided by consultants the firm coordinates. The firm does not perform construction. It does not take on single-family custom residential work or project types outside its documented expertise. These boundaries are stated in every proposal.
